St. Peter’s Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). We are located in the town of Humboldt, KS.  Living in our baptismal identities, we strive to be the presence of Christ in our community and in our world.  For over 150 years St. Peter’s has been actively involved in building up the Kingdom of Christ in Humboldt and the surrounding areas.  Through different programs and activities we are dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus to our neighbors.  Many of our members volunteer in the community Food Bank.  We hold an ice cream social in July and host Trunk-‘R-Treat on Halloween for the community.  We also serve communities throughout the world through our support missionaries and Lutheran World Relief.

Our congregational life is centered around God’s Word and Sacraments as we come together to worship as a family.  As a family our members are caring and compassionate for others, always eager to serve in dedication to our identity in Christ and the doctrine of Scripture.  Our Sunday School and Bible Study is discussion driven as we explore together what God has to say to us through His Word.  We strive to communicate a strong and clear proclamation of both God’s Law and Gospel in all we say and do.
