St. Peter’s is built on the Rock of Jesus Christ our crucified and risen Savior, and on God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit. Our Mission as a family of believers is to serve, witness, care, teach, and grow through the Word.
St. Peter’s Mission Statement
God has brought His kingdom to Humboldt, Kansas and the surrounding areas through St. Peter’s for over 150 years. His own Word and Sacrament center us in our calling. Therefore, we seek to make the life and forgiveness only found in Jesus Christ known to the world. Many of our members are active in the community and we also partner with pastors, missionaries, and organizations around the globe.
The Lutheran Confessions guide our confession of faith, but our Sunday School, Midweek Classes, and Bible Studies are open to everyone. Above all, we seek to make one another wise unto salvation through faith in Jesus.
St. Peter’s is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS).
